I ran away from Italy to do my PhD in Organic Chemistry in Germany. And guess what, my three main interests are chemistry, science communication and travelling. I also tend to accompany them – at least two out of three – with the occasional pint of beer.

I'm a PhD student trying to find out why science communication about animal experimentation is so hard and what might be done about that. Apart from my particular field, I find myself easily interested in all kinds of science - especially if it's presented well.

I am doing a PhD in the field of auditory neuroscience. You will often see me in the lab or in the office wearing headphones, as I love listening to music. In my free time, you can find me dancing or talking about science to the public (maybe I should combine these two one day?)

Hi! I am doing my PhD at the interface of organic chemistry and molecular biology. Outside of the lab (If that ever happens), I like to hit the bouldering gym and spend time with friends.

I'm a PhD student in Behavioral Ecology studying the social behavior of wild primates. I love cooking, drawing and socializing over nice conversations. I also love it when science is so well communicated that it becomes compelling to all audiences. Doing this over a pint can only help!

I'm a PhD student in Auditory Neuroscience. When I'm not in the lab, I enjoy going to the gym and enjoying sunny days at the lake (as long as it's not raining) :)

I'm a final year PhD student working on optogenetic therapies for vision restoration. I consider myself a jack of all trades; apart from science, I like to crochet, play the violin, dance my heart out, play sports, read books and of course listen & talk to the public about science.
